Taman Megah Rojak Cendol Truck

For those who frequently travel along LDP, you should notice a rojak and cendol truck parked at the side of the road leading into Taman Megah.
Judging by the number of customers I have seen camping there, its popularity can certainly match Cendol & Rojak Mustaffa in Section 17. Despite knowing its existence for years, it was only until the last weekend that we decided to give it a try.

I think rojak (or what we call pasembur in Penang) is not complete without sambal sotong. Since it only costs an additional RM1 for the sotong, why not?
The rojak sauce is undoubtedly good with a nice nutty aroma and I like that the sauce is not overly sweet. A standard serving of the rojak (RM5), with or without the extra toppings comes with all the ingredients you expect including the quintessential coconut fritters.

Penang Cendol Taman Megah

As for cendol, I think we have been spoilt by the one we had at Nyonya Cendol Cafe in Summit USJ. Because of that, a lot of cendol just don’t quite hit the mark for us anymore. Nevertheless, the cendol here is value for money (big bowl with plenty of ingredients) and still a refreshing treat to enjoy in a hot afternoon, albeit a tad watery for my preference.
